You get one week paid vacation a year... AFTER you work one full year AND then you EARN your paid vacation hours. So you can USE them AFTER year TWO. First year is a trial year, Second year is Earning your credited hours of vacation to use on year three. Part timers get no paid vacation period. Floaters get no paid vacation even if worked 2080 hours a year (40 hours a week x 52 weeks).
After of year of full time employment you get 1 week of paid leave.
Nothing special- plus they did not allow sick days- even though its a state law that 5 sick days were to be given.They made officers use vacation days or would not pay sick day
If you stay with them a long time you get good vacation benefits.
It is all in the Union contract. Which the company honer when they feel like it.
