Unlimited vacation, sick days, work from home
Unlimited vacation, sick days, health coverage requires very little out of pocket with the exception of dental (but that's common everywhere). Overall, very happy with the coverage here.
When I was employed with Seer, there was only one healthcare plan available. The plan had a low monthly payment, but a very high deductible. I ended up paying a lot out of pocket each time I needed to seek medical care. The unlimited PTO was a nice perk to have, but there never a PTO day that I didn't have to answer work emails or be on call in some form.
At the time, the health insurance package was a fairly good one. The company tries to sell you on the idea that they offer unlimited PTO. This is ruse. They really don't want you taking PTO at all. The REAL reason they offer unlimited PTO is because their turnover rate is so high the company would go broke if they had to pay people out for unused accrued vacation time. They also claim to offer a liberal WFH home policy. This is also a ruse to lure in unsuspecting new hires. WFH is a rope and Seer wants to know if you'll hang yourself with it. That is all.
