Sentara has a great benefits package overall
The offer a variety of different things. From discounted tickets for hotels, amusement parks, to insurance, self scheduling, tuition assistance.
The company has very good benefits with lots of PTO - (paid time off) if you are FT employee. You will start to accrue vacation hours on your 1st paycheck. Sentara also has a pension plan, but you must be vested for 5 yrs before it is yours to take. They also have a tuition reimbursements plan, but wish we could use it for CEU's.
Sentara still offers a pension which is unusual these days. They also offer nice paid time off, as well as comprehensive medical benefits.
Benefits are available immediately. If you want to pay the discounted employee rate you must agree to participate in the Health and Wellness disease management program if considered overweight.
