That extra sparkle:
Very competitive in the industry
Part time is able to join 401k! Awesome to start young.
Best is Great benefits, 401k, vacation time Worst is Dental insurance doesn’t cover enough and I think the maternity leave should be longer
The benefits at Sephora are amazing even for part time employees.
Great time off and healthcare coverage.
Great free products offered multiple times per year, standard benefits package including 401k, etc. Standard PTO packages and holidays off. Could have a more flexible work from home policy but occasionally it is allowed. Summer Fridays are a huge perk!
Great benefits for all their cast members, wish I was still working there!
Employee discount is good and they frequently offer a generous increase. For example one week you may get 40% off vs the typical 20%. Insurance is good, PTO is pretty standard. If you don't live in a state that mandates sick leave you don't get "sick days" which is unfortunate. My reason for the two star review is mainly the maternity leave package. It is awful and it really pales in comparison to what other companies are offering their employees. When you give birth you are given 6 week leave for natural birth... at half pay. Half. Pay. For only six weeks. You do have the option to extend by using your paid time off which is typically two weeks if you work consistent 40hours. I think for a progressive company full of women this is a terrible package. Companies like Lauder and Macy's offer a longer maternity leave at full pay.
Very little paid time off
You get a lot of training on products and gratis so you're able to try it which helps you with sales as well as provide classes to educate the team on makeup artistry and skincare.
