The worst thing is that the benefits package itself is not very flexible, just three very basic packages that they offer. In regards to fitting everyone needs I do not think this is adequate in regards for all employees of SCS.

It is like most employers have had to do since the government implemented new healthcare laws. Premiums have gone up. Coverages have gone down.
Very limited options from Cigna....one must renew a new plan every year with little options available
Health Insurance is too high, first year teachers rarely get mentored, they get taken advantage of, and find it hard to stay at an "at risk" school, not because of the kids, but because of corrupt administrators and their "big wig" school board with more corruptions on their end, trickling down to the most innocent of victims. It's disgusting and SCS should be ASHAMED of themselves for letting these "tactics" go way out of control. For the sake of our future generations, we must not stick with what never worked and mirror school systems throughout the country that work. Start with the Nashville School System. This city is "head over heels" above of Memphis. No wonder only 2-3 ASD schools reside in Nashville, and the rest are in Memphis (at least 20+ and rising).
My co pay increased and they take out a large amount.
