Retirement has been weaken since change from Memphis Scholls to Shelby County
The premiums for health, dental, and vision are half the price of the premiums I was paying previously. The options for healthcare have great co-pays, etc.
Pros are decent healthcare and some retirement matching. Cons are very little support for all the expenses associated with job itself (classroom expenses, etc.)
The benefits package is very beneficial! The insurer company is Cigna Health. One important thing to note is that you do not get paid for Holidays.
All the bells and whistles, but the employee contribution is high.

There are no benefits offered to substitute teachers

The summers off and long breaks are great. The pay is spaced so that you don't go broke over the summer. Health insurance best benefit. Getting more expensive with less coverage though.
