Being a contractor, there are no benefits provided. We have to take care of our own expenses and other issues.

Great place to work...dedicated staff willing to go the extra mile to support patients. Personally satisfying to work in helping patients improve their quality of life through therapy and hard work.

The benefits and insurance plan are very reasonable with Shirley Ryan ability lab and the human resource department is very good at communication and they reach out to you to make sure that you are properly informed.

The hospital does not offer its employees any incentives to have their care performed at one of its facilities.

PPO thru Blue Cross or EPO thru Aetna. Decent coverage, but expensive premiums. Decent dental and vision. 401(k) has good and bad points: up to 6% match overall, and funds vest immediately, but the choices of funds in the plan have pretty high expense ratios for performance that is par at best. Organization does not pay for or supplement short-term disability insurance, which is a standard at most large hospitals. Instead, they offer an "extended sick pay bank" which works great for people with seniority but is risky for new hires.

Salary was in line with comparable industry positions. Solid benefits with some buy in required. Tuition reimbursement offered.
