paid time off is decent. however insurance could be better. i have heard stories of terrible leave policies but have had no experience with them personally
The best thing is the money purchase pension plan (profit sharing). It’s a deferred/retirement account which is funded solely by the firm. The account balance exceeds the balance in my 401k and was 100% vested upon its inception.
Excellent vacation/sick leave. Subsidized shared transportation. Matching 401k. Good Healthcare/Dental/vision.
Worst thing is they don’t match your 401k contribution. Benefits are based out of KC which makes filing claims tedious. High deductible.
Benefits like whoa - but you will lose your soul.
Health Insurance does not cover any alternative treatments, it covers only preventive services. They offer some job training but little to almost no mobility in admin positions in the city offices.
The cost for employee only is very good, however family coverage gets expensive. 401k is offered along with a pension but kept separate. Vacation is generous along with possible paid snow days.
Decent health insurance. Dental, not so much.
The deductible/monthly premiums are high for anything other than individual coverage.
Health insurance is not the best.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
