Expect to be shown what to do one time. Then be left alone in the dept for 4 hours a day.
The training is excellent and prepares the cashier to get right on the register.
You get paid for your training days. Training is pretty simple. Seems intimidating at first but give it a day you’ll get it
Pretty clear indication of what they expect.
I work in the bakery and you will be taught the basic task in the beginning, but all other more adept and advance task such as baking, cake decorating, mixing etc. Will be based on how proactive you are about learning them. If u want to just package .label. And help customers. That will be all u do for the remainder of your time there

Job training was comprehensive on the basic tasks of the job but not the full expectations of what they wanted of us.
Alot of the job training at ShopRite is done on a computerized platform but they also have hands on training to certify employees on how to use forklifts, wavelifts, and bailers for working in the grocery or recieving end of the business.
They have people train you for 4 days for 2 weeks so you feel comfortable
