Management will skip it by not letting you know when you're eligible and then tell you that you can't have one because the window is closed.
Not much to say. Its okay. You get a certain amount of hours based off the amount of hours you work there. For most people their hours are varied (by amount and time) so its hard to calculate it for yourself. They won't even tell you that you have any until you ask the head bookkeeper. Anyhow, its not that great but its not too bad so its a neutral for me.
After a year of working you receive 1 week of paid time off (12 hours of pay). After 3 years you receive 2 weeks. Sick days are only for full-time employees. There are specific weeks (more then you expect) that are blackout weeks where you cannot take off.
Their are blackout weeks where you can not go on vacation even if you have booked your trip already.
Once you are there for a while you can actually get 2 paid vacations a year pretty quickly. Not a bad deal at all.
Paid time off is easy to get
Most people who work full time hours only get one full week of PTO : /
you get paid vacations
You get one week time off after 1 year then 2 weeks after 3 3 weeks after 5 years and 4 weeks after 8+
