Good benefits, good coverage, low costs. Overall very helpful to make things manageable to cover entire family and not cost too much.
The benefits package at Shutterfly is excellent. Unlimited vacation, good healthcare, 401k, complimentary snacks and beverages, conference and professional development reimbursement, work from home days (depends on manager), team morale events and lunches, etc. And generally, management is flexible with benefits. For instance, stocking beverages and snacks with requested items, team input on choice of morale events, flexibility with schedule with a sick child, etc. I didn't give 5 stars because the 401k isn't matching. Prior management chose to reward higher performers with better bonuses in lieu of a universal 401k match. The downside is you can't consistently outperform every quarter, year after year. Plus, the bonus percentage fluctuates based on company performance.
