Health benefits were first rate and inexpensive. Entire family was fully covered for medical, dental and vision. Food and beverage perks were nice and the unlimited time off is great if you can break away.

The best thing is relative low out of pocket cost for the Employee. It's great. It saves employees so much. Shyp management cares about the welfare of it's employees. It just too bad it doesn't pay more. The worst is that it's very difficult to get. There is an unofficial hiring freeze. Especially for couriers and packing techs. Shyp ends up using people for 29 hours a week to avoid converting them full time. It relies heavily on the "gig economy."

Core benefits are pretty good, but as the company has grown the "perks" have dwindled. Additionally, there is no merit increase or bonus structure in place at this time.

Amazing benefits package! All employees (Full time and part time) are eligible for PTO, this is rare to see. All employees have the opportunity to participate in 401k. FT employees are eligible to elect from an abundant amount of medical, dental, and vision plans. (covered at 95%) Shyp also automatically covers 100% for Life, STD, LTD. Breakfast, lunch, dinner when working. Nice selection of snacks and drinks at HQ. Other perks: Gym reimbursement, annual flight credit, monthly Shyp credits, cell phone reimbursement, company paid iPhone and laptop. :)
Shyp is constantly adjusting their benefits package to reflect the best in market like; 15 weeks of paid maternity leave! 4 weeks paternal leave, unlimited vacation, company holidays, free airplane tickets, implementing 401k, any kind of desk set up you want - people actually use the stand up desks here and great med, dental and vision bene's - plus the standard FSA and commuter stuff!

I did not get any benefits because I was an intern at Shyp. I am not sure what the benefits are for employees. Contractors do not get benefits.
