  • Sick Pay  (16 comments)

“Sick pay depends on your tenure with the business, which is fair. Not much hassle, you get treated with compassion.”

  • Flexible Working  (4 comments)

“All requests considered within a transparent set of criteria, including new recruits without the need for a minimum period of service”

  • Work From Home  (3 comments)

“General flexibility is good. Often too much variation between teams and managers on acceptable levels of flexibility.”

Lots of flexible benefits which work as a salary sacrifice scheme. 26 days basic holiday which increase with service, flexible working (home working and part- time). Opportunity to buy and sell holidays per year, fantastic pension scheme which is matched up to 10%.

Best: company matches pension. Also the ‘My Deals’ offering discounts on Siemens kitchen appliances, and Bosch equipment

Very good pension, able to flex all your options and buy into other benefits at very reasonable cost eg healthcare, cycle to work, travel insurance, buy/sell holiday.

A very good package of benifits with health cover being supplied by BUPA. Taking holidays in the summer is frowned upon as that is the main time for site work.

Benefits are structured to be tax and NI efficient through "salary sacrifice". Good matching of pension contributions for lower and mid ranking staff with up to 10% matched. Good list of selectable benefits at preferential rates with choices usually made once a year. Able to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday a year. Good death in service cover

Siemens has a comprehensive benefits package that covers all the bases. They provide the options to extend many of these benefits to suit your needs or to opt out if they are not required
