The offer excellent and comprehensive benefits!
Like most universities, Siena College does not provide any benefits for adjunct faculty. Someone will attend one of your classes and review your performance.
In my position, there was no benefits package. However, those who did receive them always appreciated that they could send as many of their kids as they wanted to school there for free (at a university that can cost 40k plus/year to attend). That's priceless.
Wish I had health benefits prorated for my part time status
The tuition benefit is like a salary raise. Not only can your children atten tuition free but you can get a graduate degree paid for by the college. The 401k contribution is generous. However, salaries are low and health care costs are high.
Health care costs recently increased to $30 co-pays for regular doctor visits and $50 for specialists like dermatologist or allergist
Plenty of vacation time during semester breaks. Could have more long term employee benefits for graduates
Adjunct faculty are paid a per course stipend (an option NOT mentioned on your website!) No benefits are offered to adjuncts
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
