Its limited - you have to exhaust your PTO and then go on short-term disability.
12 weeks paid leave, you apply for the CA disability benefits and SVB offsets the rest so that you get the same pay on leave as normal salary.
Employees are provided maternity/paternity to spend time with the spouse and new baby.
