Nice people, caring, compassionate.. very bad pay.
best - serves the vulnerable and underprivileged worst- financial instability
Decent retirement that seems comparable with other hospitals. Great health insurance, opportunities for decent time off, fair amount of maternity leave.
matching not eligible until 12 months in, only 2% max. Vacation days good for salaried employees, many sick days as well (not sure on how easy those are to use).
Sinai offers great health insurance, good PTO package, 8 holidays off a year, 403b matching option up to 2%
Benefits are comparable to other private hospitals around Chicago suburbs.
403b, hmo insurance, std, ltd, pto no sick time or personal time
Restrictions on using sick time until after 3 days of PTO. Once you bank enough hours you can use it with less PTO, but still have to use at least 1 day of PTO before being able to touch Sick. For a healthcare system, coverage is poor, especially for those who don't live in the area served. 403B is matched at the first 5% after 1 full (calendar) year.
There is very little good.
Insurance is extremely expense.
