Our PPO plan provides employees with choices. Employees are not tied down to particular doctors but can decide whether they want to use providers inside or outside of a network. At Sinclair, employees can choose the level of health coverage that best fits their needs as well as the needs of their family. Our PPO plan offers four different options that provide varying levels of coverage and cost. Prescription drug benefits follow the particular level of health coverage the employee selects.
Great health insurance, as a single person, I average around $40 a month
Very reasonable paycheck contribution rates.
Participation in the "wellness program" is compulsory. I had the "High End" option and was routinely denied medications and treatments prescribed by my PCP and specialists.
90 days of service before you get coverage
Reasonable premiums - $20 every two weeks for basic. Covered about 80% after $500 or $600 deductible, if I remember correctly. $20 or $30 copays
Yes, great benefits all around
It changes almost annually and doesn't cover much.
Improvement in benefits ever year
The premiums and deductibles were ludicrously low! It was so helpful!
It is a good package for the Journalism industry.
