Sinclair offers a time off for vacation, holiday, personal, and sick time to new employees, after the completion of six months continuous service. Vacation time is earned according to an employee’s date of hire and is an accrued benefit.

0 to completion of the 5th year: 2 weeks vacation (accumulated biweekly) 6 to 10th year: 3 weeks vacation 11th year and beyond: 4 weeks vacation 2 personal days, annual (additional PTO may be gained by participating in voluntary annual salary reduction)
The vacation accrual schedule is one of the best things SBG offers as far as benefits.
Good for the industry. Flexible
Vacation time is standard for a typical American company but sick leave is really inadequate. One good winter cold and you have used all of your sick time for the year, so people often come in sick.
Difficult to ask for time off due to being understaffed.
Official policy is that employees may not take any vacation, personal time, sick time for the first 6 months.
2 weeks vacation and 2 personal days for the first 5 years and then you get 3 weeks vacation. nothing more until 15 years
