Childishness rewards tokens system to buy snacks and merch. Not condescending at all (sarcasm), but better than nothing. Something to give co-workers when you leave.
401K match is not very competitive in the industry. The company really should assess increasing the match so it can be competitive in the software industry. It is a small but significant way the company can demonstrate its commitment to employees. The company did just improve its PTO policy. I thought this is a nice gesture for newer employees as the new policy brought new and old employees onto the same accumulation track.
The benefits are decent when looking at employers overall in this area, but they are not competitive with other tech companies due to cost of employee premiums. When one is earning $15-20/hour, the family medical cost is a big chunk of a paycheck.
PTO is at a premium but they have decent benefits. You can't beat the paternity leave.

Best: Time off is very good, the company is relatively generous in its contributions to 401k and HSA. Paternity leave. Worst: Very few paid holidays compared to other companies I've worked for, High deductible plan (doesn't everyone have on these days?)
While they do a good job of trying to keep cost down like everyone else its hard to keep premiums and deductibles low.
SirsiDynix has provided some decent benefits in the past and they are working to catch up to some of the benefit packages that other companies in the area are providing. The HR department does a good job at taking care of the employees.
