I love the PTO policy. There's health , dental, vision, and life insurance. They pay different portions of each. There's an EAP. They have seasonal company parties. It's great!
The benefits are pretty good across the board. No one part is great but it is competitive with other companies in the area.
Health Insurance/Dental plans are good but can be expensive for a family and all have high deductibles. Employer offers 401K match, which is good, but they should consider a higher percentage match as an incentive to keep good employees and to compete with local employers.
SirsiDynix offers working from home full time (at least in the Engineering department) which has been awesome. The Health care is ok, it is a high deductible plan with the option of HSA and monthly company matching for part of the contribution. The Tuition reimbursement was helpful.
Lots of vacation time, matching 410k, contributions to your hsa.

401K match is not very competitive in the industry. The company really should assess increasing the match so it can be competitive in the software industry. It is a small but significant way the company can demonstrate its commitment to employees. The company did just improve its PTO policy. I thought this is a nice gesture for newer employees as the new policy brought new and old employees onto the same accumulation track.
The benefits are decent when looking at employers overall in this area, but they are not competitive with other tech companies due to cost of employee premiums. When one is earning $15-20/hour, the family medical cost is a big chunk of a paycheck.
PTO is at a premium but they have decent benefits. You can't beat the paternity leave.
