Grouped into sections of 400 employees competing for the time off, and management would only allow 7 per day including FMLA employees. It was impossible to use time off, couldn't give it to coworkers that were sick, couldn't cash it out. It was an illusion that you could never use.
Difficult during certain time periods to schedule time off. Time off usually only allowed to be scheduled 4-6 weeks in advance. Time off determined at an off-site facility and not locally.
The PTO is the Same as Vacation but it did help.
They make you beg for it but they have it. About 2-3 hours accrued per check.
the paid time off is not described well or found in the handbook anywhere, but I know we ge it after a year
Excellent attendance policy and PTO is accrued each pay period.
It’s great to be able to earn vacation and paid time off.
This is a good benefit, however the senior EE's should get to accrue more time.
You don't start earning for 6 months. Amount increases with tenure but caps out at 10 years.
