You are paid for your training sessions at Six Flags.
They have six flags training which is just like an orientation to the company, then a department training class. occasionally they have on the job training but it’s very rare.
You sit in an office and read a pamphlet for about 30 minutes and you get a certificate of training completion. You then get to shadow your fellow employees before you start. However it's not really hands on especially on the register where you are at risk for losing your cash rights if you make too many mistakes.
The job training was helpful.
About two days training then they throw you in there. Pretty easy.
I did not feel as ready as I could have been. A lot of learning from mistakes.
Discovery training, which is a general training for employees of all departments and then a department specific training.
They don't properly train you
Definitely do good training as far as operating the ride and what you should say.
