Good dental plan options, no 401 k match
The benefits are OK. Not a big package of Benefits.
-no 401k match -vacation time is limited to 10 days for junior staff -expensive medical and dental -no flex work options and it’s frowned upon
Boiler plate benefits. Expect nothing extra. Competing firms in Chicago have advanced benefits - enough to not even consider this firm as a valued potential.
A 401(k) match is not provided - a discretionary profit sharing is typically made.
Health, dental, and vision come out of your paycheck. No 401K match. Very meager contribution as a "bonus" into 401k if you have been there long enough for it to be "vested".
The benefits are generally at industry standard. Insurance benefits are slightly better. 401k is not matched
Sick time can be used for most things like family emergencies, etc.
Vacation/time off is good compared with others.
Two weeks vacation, increases an additional week for every 5 years of service, which is below standard for all industries. Relatively low health/dental/vision insurance deductions from your paycheck. No 401k match, which is unheard of for a company this known/size, unless you are employed for more than one full calendar year and even then, the match is discretionary. Also, no work from home policy and no laptops. Lack of benefits discourages new employees because the competition can offer much more. But if you've already been with the firm for a long tenure, your benefits are probably average or above average.
