I appreciate that we get as many holidays as state workers. While they do compensate for physical health, I do wish they covered mental health as well.
For employees with kids, the health benefits are by far the worst I've experienced. But hey! We get free soda and snacks instead
There's literally a ton of benefits offered by SkySlope. From big things like health insurance and PTO, to small things such as free snacks/drinks and dogs being allowed in the office, SkySlope is very aware of the effect these benefits have on employee happiness and morale.
Medical, Dental, and Vision were all a joke. The benefits offered are charged at greater than general market rate available. Most of the benefits advertised in the job listing never materialized. The small quantity which did were gradually chipped away over time.
Its solid all around. I didn't have to take advantage of the health benefits because of my age and my fathers plan. He works for the state I'm 25, however they provided pet insurance. Tyler walks around and thanks you for working there every month and hands you $50. The place is awesome.
The benefits at SkySlope are EXCELLENT! Between vacation, 401K and the free luches 3 times a week. Just keeps getting better too!
