I have not found anything that I don't like about the benefits package here at SkyWest Airlines. There is stock options, 401K, medical, dental, vision, life, etc.

As an airline, Skywest does not come close to the benefits or pay that other carriers offers.

They offer several types of benefits, but they have raised rates for insurance nullifying any annual pay increases. They have your typical PPO and offer High deductible health plans as well

I got terminated for being sick and getting 2 doctors to write off my sick days and they basically just said “GOODBYE”. Pilots will rat you out if they don’t like you and that will cause supervisors and ROM’s to weed you out and cause you to get into unnecessary trouble. Don’t trust anyone here at the company. No one is there for you once you leave training. Training is not compared to the real job. You learn as you go once you’re in the air. No emotional/mental support. My MSP supervisor just kept telling me “that’s just how the industry works” which is discouraging coming into the aviation industry as a new hire. Flight attendants are over-worked, under-paid, and under-appreciated. SkyWest has a high turnover rate because their employees are disposable and they don’t care to hear your explanation. They don’t care, PERIODT!!!!! Seniority matters so don’t have high hopes. Good luck out there and hope none of you experience discrimination and inequality from higher management. Don’t waste your time with this non-union. Go to another airline who actually appreciates you.

Company offers a variety of benefits to work with everybody's needs and encourages it's employees to take time off to utilize our flight benefits.
