If you don't want to do a week of camp, you can let them know and you won't be scheduled, though it may affect how you will be scheduled in the future. Everyone is essentially "on-call" though if you're in an area where you're one of only a few coaches, you're going to do well. Bad thing is that if you sign up for the week, you have to do the entire week, almost no exceptions.
There isn't necessarily a benefits package that I was aware of. I received compensation through and hourly wage with Skyhawks.
