great pay for summer job
They don't have benefits for part time employers

No benefits. No paid time off, still needs to be requested far in advance

This may sound crazy, but does anyone else not love summer break? I enjoy my work. It gives me purpose. Sure, we plan and do things over summer, but I find the constant pressure of finding constructive things to do day to day increases my anxiety. Give me two weeks like winter break and let’s get back to it 🤷♂️

If you don't want to do a week of camp, you can let them know and you won't be scheduled, though it may affect how you will be scheduled in the future. Everyone is essentially "on-call" though if you're in an area where you're one of only a few coaches, you're going to do well. Bad thing is that if you sign up for the week, you have to do the entire week, almost no exceptions.
There isn't necessarily a benefits package that I was aware of. I received compensation through and hourly wage with Skyhawks.
