No waiting period for benefits
When they finally rolled out a benefits package to employees who had been with the company, sweating it out since the beginning, they made everyone take a 24% reduction in pay so as to cover the cost of their expenses. These loyal employees deserved a raise for what they had accomplished and instead got punished for receiving mediocre healthcare.
Not enough thought goes into the plans. Almost an afterthought
401k matching as soon as you start
401k and insurance are provided.
Best package is the half off Fridays, During summer the company allows employees to have half off Fridays at full days pay. so it gives u a work-life balance which is a huge plus.
Skyrocket Toys offers 401k the very first day you start. Their PTO is standard in comparison to the market but they offer 6 sick days in addition to PTO days. Summer hours means half-day Friday's and they're always throwing parties, whether it be the company anniversary party, holiday party, or end of summer party. They provide random days off or "go home early" days which are always a nice surprise and a great perk.
PTO is fairly standard; 10 paid holidays + two floating holidays + vacation and sick days. They also offer optional summer hours. I don't participate in the company health insurance but I've heard that it's good.
