Great BCBS PPO for a reasonable price! Good Vision, Dental, Life Insurnance, Disability, and even Accident Insurance.
Difficult to get time off, especially when you need more than a day or two. Very byzantine system to request time off. Almost impossible to take more than one week off.
From a benefits perspective, Skyworks is decent.
Average benefits. No local gym or reimbursement. High premium for health insurance with high deductible. No Maternity or paternity leave. Apply for PTO or FMLA.
Best things about the benefits- Skyworks has good 401k matching and ESPP programs Skyworks also has generally provides time off at the end of the year.
Everything is pretty good except the health insurance. It's a high deductible plan which means you don't get any coverage from your insurance until you meet the deductible.
expensive high deductible health insurance but good coverage. Unpaid Maternity leave. 1 week personal wellness time + starting out 2 weeks of PTO. Time off between Christmas and New Year. Employee Education Assistance
Worst is the insurance. Best is the options?average 401k and gym coverage. Comparing to the same company in this industry
below average benefit in this industry
Overall benefits package is pretty good. Would be better if 401k matched a higher percentage. Vision and dental are great. Medical PPO is also great, however, monthly payments jump to high every year.
