Most hairstylists do not receive benefits, hourly pay or really any compensation so the steady pay and benefits are a huge plus to this industry. The insurance is very expensive for how small the checks are in the beginning but the ability to buy stock in the company is also a huge plus. Your hours vary based on your production (if you're bringing in clients? You'll get more hours)

They do not match on the 401k program at all. They only match on the stock programs.

Its better than some salons but not the best package tat could be offered for such a large company. Stock option is a great package. Regis owns just about all chains salons now a days so you would be stupid not to buy in to the stock option,

Overall, not very many benefits. After one year, you get a weeks paid vacation, which is actually an average of how many hours you worked weekly the year before. You get 50% off products the last week of each month.
