“Vision, medical, dental, legal.... Everything. It was adorable for my salary”
“Anthem offers several different packages. This benefit is offered to all management, as well as to team members after 1 year of service meeting the hourly requirements to become eligible. ”
“Tried to take it away in 2017 to make numbers look good for the sale of the company. Disasterous and came back with an improvised employee match. Still an alright deal especially because it’s available to entry level team as well. ”
Great vacation package and benefits
It paid for everything and was very affordable
50% off meals on day you work and 20? on days you don't work, have to earn vacation, don't allow sick days- if you are sick, can't call in, have to get shift covered
Will match up to 3%
there was no long-term benefits offered for managers or trainers. I am not sure if the managers do get benefits and like many fast dining, there was a lot of workplace turnover. There was a 15% or so discount on food.
Comprehensive 401k available to all employees at all levels. Great selling point for many. Insurance through Anthem is expensive but great. Very negative culture around PTO— use it or lose it and no one is happy to be sure you get the time off you deserve.
It doesn't really matter what the benefits package looks like at Smashburger, you can't use any of it. This place is so poorly run and disorganized, you can't possibly take your hard earned vacation time. Its simply a miracle to me that this place is still in business.
There really was nothing good about working here. They never trained me or told me any information about benefits or discounts. When I worked a 10 hour shift they never even offered me a discount to eat.
no benefits not even free meal during shift
Retirement packages are offered after about six months of working at the company.
