Health Insurance was super expensive with lower deductibles compared to like companies even though the claims were low. When talking to coworkers at other companies in the division, they paid lower rates for the same insurance.

No local HR to facilitate benefits. Phone and web-based help lines inconsistent in level of assistance, contributing to an atmosphere of "figure it out yourself" is often the most effective way to move an issues forward.

Average benefits plan offering health, dental, vision, etc. 401k plan 50% match. Best thing was it is comprehensive. Worst thing was lack of pension or equity plans.
