The time off at SocialCode works great. You typically get 15 days off and 5 sick days. Additionally during the summer there are work from anywhere Fridays. SocialCode is also technically closed between Christmas & New Years. Time off and Holidays feels very generous. There is a very cost efficient insurance option that covers all wellness appointments for the year. Dental is also a cheap plan for very good coverage.
401k match is so small.... 1%, snacks, lunches, cold brew are on par with the rest of the market. PTO and sick time is adequate. Summer fridays (where you can work from home) and the time off between Xmas and NYE are the best benefits in my opinion. Vision insurance is only through your health benefit which is very disappointing. Work from home is not flexible, you always need a reason and C level will never acknowledge this though. They say it’s dependent on your manager. Other retirement perks and education only kick in after a year plus but SocialCode is not an environment where the majority of people work for over a year. Maternity leave is a shame.
1% 401k matching after 1 year...
it's pretty decent matches market pricing. good bonus and health benefits.
The benefits was the best part. They also stocked the refrig and provided drinks.
Company has good in-office perks, work-from-home flexibility, summer Fridays, and vacation time. Employees are encouraged to take time off and the flexibility of working from home is very nice.
work-from-wherever-you-are Summer Fridays are a huge perk and add-on to the typical benefits package at SocialCode
Best part was the people, catered lunches, interesting work Worst part was imbalance of work between employees. Work life balance very dependent on accounts you were placed on.
1% 401K match...and only after you've been there for a year
Standard medical/dental plan. No vision. Free snacks. PTO is limited to 3 weeks. Some flexibility to work from home.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
