worst thing is that during the summer you have to cancel your benefits if you can't pay for them out of pocket. Sometimes its not that expensive it just depends

The 401K plan matches up to half
I like that it automatically comes out of your first check at the rate of 1%, and of course you can opt out, and can increase the percentage, but left to my own devices, I probably would not have taken the initiative to open (another) 401(k) on my own, so I appreciate that being done for me. And I don't miss the 1% coming out of my pay.
The worst thing about the 401k is you don't get the choice of how much you would like to invest. The company decides for you and it goes up each year of employment.
