Depending on service tenure, employees start with 15 days of annual vacation leave and can accrue up to 25 days of vacation leave time.
3 weeks per year to start. 4 weeks after 5 years. 5 weeks after 20 years. There should be 6 weeks after 20 and 5 weeks after 15 years.
New FT employees start off with 3 weeks of PTO.

While there is separate sick time and vacation time (not "PTO" as many companies offer), it doesn't help much when you're an American employee working to hold things together while all of Europe is on vacation for the entire month of August. (More tenured employees have even more vacation and are off for nearly the whole summer.) It's hard to keep things going when NO ONE is in for four weeks.
