Health insurance is incredible. I have a $0 deductible. All prescriptions are $5, $50 ER visits, $15 for a therapy session with a therapist of my choice, and birth control is not restricted. But the other huge perk is that you get a tuition waiver for yourself AND for your spouse or children. I did my Masters for free.

Best thing is the health insurance! No copay!
the pay is pretty low. Automatic retirement contributions, great vision, medical and dental. Best benefit is free units so you or your dependents can take classes on campus for free
Overall the package/benefits are ok. But no consistency throughout campus.
No benefits as this is a short-term position.
Great health insurance coverage, sick and vacation time, all national holidays off, a week off at Christmas paid. Everyone takes vacations in the summer.
Can elect to pay into a 403b. You are part of the CalPERS system, which is great. Amazing health insurance--makes up for the low pay.
Great health benefits package! Great paid time off.
As a student assistant you do not receive benefits through the school. Your benefits are provided via your tuition. They do give you the option to pay into Social Security.
