Benefits were above par in all areas
Decent benefits and PTO. Very few holidays.
Not vested until 8 years
Sotera offers great and flexible plans for early professionals and makes the enrollment process as painless as possible. The only benefit that's below average is continuing education reimbursement.
Competitive benefits. Generous PTO accrual
No job security after sequestration. Company still struggles to keep contracts and win new ones. No necessarily the company's fault, but more the current environment in Federal Government Contracts
I know that the company does provide various good perks. However as a temporary intern there were no perks other than the cool job and salary.
The offerings at Sortera are excellent and comparative at most companies.
Benefits are awesome, especially health insurance. They have Blue Cross Blue Shield. Premiums are normal, but the EPO option covers everything, including things that are normally excluded elsewhere. Excellent Aflac policy for Accident, and separate hospital Aflac policy too. I chose working here over higher paying offer because of how good the health insurance is. Never underestimate the importance of having really good health insurance when when its unexpectedly needed. Health care providers see my plan details and seem to bend over backwards to make me happy.
medical is very expensive. I've been paying for over a year now and still at my request to receive insurance cards I have yet to get on. vacation is accumulated slowly aprox 2.3 hrs a week. 401 is not bad rather average.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
