Sotheby's offers a very high amount of vacation days, sick days, and holidays. While there are times during the year like any company when you have to work late, for the most part the company is very understanding and flexible.
Employee contributions high.
There is no benefits package if you are a floater
Standard 100% match up to 3% 401k but its vested, and 2 years must be met before even 40% of said match is collectible. Other than that, minor holidays but generally poor time off and lousy coffee. This is not a benefits oriented company for the lower 98%. Top 2% however have driver budgets more than double the average salary. So you do the fairness math.
They think they are doing you a favor because they give you shares of worthless stock.
