Healthcare plan is one of those high deductible ones with a flexible spending savings account. It is okay, but you had better plan to save the deductible. The bigger issue seems to the limited network, especially for optical & dental.
Only one health plan is offered, and it's catastrophic coverage. No good if you have any medical needs besides routine doctor visits. If you have a chronic condition, Taxware's health coverage is complete junk. You're better off not taking the job. 401K? Vests after two years. Which is great if you can stomach working for this place for that long. Want to work from home if you're waiting for an appliance delivery? CEO says no, just take your PTO instead. Nice flexibility, guys.
Health benefits are awful -- high deductible plan. The company does contribute to a health savings account but it isn't much. Since 80+% of the new hires are under 25 the company feels they don't need a comprehensive plan for all it's employees.
Anyone that had another insurance option would always stick with their old insurance.
