Onsite Dental and Medical is great No 401k match is not so great
One Good company perk is that you get SpaceX swag for almost 50% off the regular price and that they have a restaurant inside the main building best food is at the Messeni because at the main level the food is always Salty and it always gives you the Runs
Most would say “I wish SpaceX would match contributions to 401K”... no matching here. The reason behind it is the fact that stock is given instead to enplyees.
Stock awards were great. The low base pay and massive amounts of uncompensated overtime and weekend work was awful. The 401K also has no employer contribution.
Good insurance 3 weeks paid vacation is nice but its no scaling for overtime work so people who work 40 hrs a week and people who work 60hrs a week get the same vacation There are Stock options There is no 401k matching

no 401k. stocks awarded instead. fully vested after 5 years. you have to pay taxes on the stock

+Free basic medical, dental, and vision for employees. +Slightly discounted swag and food. +Free caffeinated beverages +/-RSU stocks offered when hired sounds great but really you should divide that offer in half because you will either need to pay nearly 50% tax or they will take out the equivlant value of stock to cover the tax. +generally follows California minimum benefit laws across all states that care less about their works (I'm talking about you Texas) +/-3 weeks vacation for every one (good luck using all at once) -No matching 401k +/- Most of all benefits like additional life insurance, Legal Assistance, etc. are offered but you must pay for them. Some times it a good deal if you know during your going to need something for the following year during your open enrollment (a 3 week period in the fall were you can chose what benefits you want to pay for next year). Sometimes your better off shopping around your self. +/- offers various unpaid leave for medical, death and so on.
