Salary is industry standard or better, but stock award is great (about 25% your yearly salary) Very good healthcare options. Onsite clinic. Subsidized delicious meals ($3 ~ $5 per). Free coffee, froyo, snacks, sodas. Wide range of discounts (group legal service, mobile plan, theme parks), free gym. Nap room.
No matching for 401k, no free meal
Offer plans with no employee contributions, but still great care! Dental, Eye and Medical!! Also they have onsite medical and dental centers which means you don't have to take time off work.
The health insurance is geared for the single person in mind.. If you have a family forget it. I have the Kaiser him and it's total garbage, went to emergency room other day and they wanted 200$ upfront then I was billed another 500$ Lousey as shit, better off with no insurance
Great benefits but no 401K match
no 401k matching, normal amount of vacation, standard ppo, hmo or epo choices
Many employee perks. Only draw back is no 401k matching.
relocation and transportation fee included
EPO is free for employee if you only cover yourself, with on-site dental/doctor clinics. It's only convenient if your shift isn't spanning their open-close hours, as you can only go if you're really hurting, or before/after your shift... otherwise you'd have to take a day off to make an appointment. Clinics are not open 24/7. Good company-related perks, like discounted gourmet food, food trucks, spacex gear, free snacks, and a $150 work shoe reimbursement. To start, you get 3 weeks accrued vacation, 5 sick days, and 3 CA-sick days. They have 401k but no matching whatsoever. They give you stocks instead which is always riskier and fluctuating but it "could" pay off in the future. Discounts on airport parking, cellphone coverage, theme park tickets, and family or pet-related services are among the many employee discounts you are given. Gym memberships. I thought there'd be a gym AT spacex, but there isn't. You have to use an outside place like 24/hr fitness or LA fitness, and in order to maintain that membership you have to go at least 4 times a month (i think). They have a masseuse. A small closed room. I haven't used it yet but I might soon. bikes, vanpools, and security escorts make it convenient to get around campus for food and perks if you need it, especially since lunch is only 30 minutes.
Best: Stock options and insurance benefits. Worst: no matching 401k
