“30% 40% days and 30% off the 50% discounted items on November 1st and 2nd”
“May be called in to work last minute shifts. They do their best to work around your schedule if there’s enough employees on the team”
Easy, fun, bonus pay a week before Halloween. All around a great place to work at for those who are in school or need flexibility
Benefits are as expected for a part-time, temporary position; employee discounts and on the job training are provided. Sick days are not paid or built up, but often it is easy to find someone to take over your shift. Aside from these, the only other benefits are the flexibility of a temporary position and the opportunity to learn a plethora of retail tasks. Overall, employment at Spirit was enjoyable and I plan to pursue a position here again. The work itself is simple, especially for those with previous retail experience. The majority of tasks fall into merchandising (keeping up the store appearance and organizing products) or customer service (from greeting to product choice, all the way to checkout). One of the only things I wish Spirit Haloween would do is reach out to previous employees or give the option to opt into alerts when the next job season begins.
Just get discounts as a part-time employee
No benefits since everyone is working part time or on call
No benefits because it's a seasonal position
It's a seasonal job so there are no benefits
the discount and that was all. .........
Employee discount was cool. If you were new to Spirit, they really help and train you on the whole process of the season from start (setting up) to finish (tearing down).
there are no benefits offered even to full time employees
There are no benefits to this job, which makes sense since you only work for a month at least unless the store is open for a longer time.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
