Time off could have been better and employees should get their choice of what they are using their own time for

  • Health Insurance(4 comments)

Restricted network to clinic doctors and one hospital. Should cover health club benefits since they are such a large employer. Not covered in-network if you travel out of state either.

Time off was based on their preference and conditions if it was personal, sick or vacation.

Health insurance is expensive and doesn't cover much. Dental is fine. No vision care.

Insurance cost is fair/average. Coverage for eye, dental. Can only see clinic doctors, restricted network. 401k match only 1% poor.

SC offer's a fairly standard benefit package but loves to talk about how awesome it is. The 401k thing is based on a profit sharing type deal if you're already contributing. It's a shame that you're not eligible for a 401k until you've been there a year.

Good 401k as they do profit sharing. Health Benefits have been declining the past few years and getting more expensive at the same time. Not as much vacation as others (2 weeks plus 3 personal days) until 7 years when it increases.

Never heard of KBA Key Benefits? Neither have I until I started working here. They got rid of the Healthlink plan, so now they use a made up insurance which has very poor coverage. Very very minimal vision insurance. You MUST use Springfield Clinic providers or it won't be covered.

Health insurance benefits were good to start, then went to bad and then worse. Profit sharing was good. Flex spending account was terrible...difficult to use the card and KBA was clueless and frequently screwed up the billing and benefits charges.

Their retirement plans are good. You accrue, vacation, sick and personal days separately. I do not have the healthcare insurance
