Full coverage truly means FULL. Very strong and broad coverage for staff and their families. Negative: separate billing from consultants and specialists, confusing and irritating
paid time off, vacation hours and things
Great company to work for.
Excellent benefits package. Hard to beat Healthcare benefits at no cost to the employee.
Sick days were difficult to use and retirement benefits are minimal at start
Like many employment offered health care plans, if your only seeking coverage for yourself, then its affordable until you want to add spouse and children. The pleasant surprise I've found is that although this super religious big corporation will pay for tubal ligation and contraceptive.
Holidays are taken from pto so if you are hired 16 December you will not have accrued enough pto to be of for Christmas and New Years and as exempt employee required to be off
The Mission Hospital benefit package is decent, with good health insurance. They offer vacation, and unpaid time off when needed. They have a 401k program that you can participate in.
The benefits are pretty good with HMO and PPO option.
The best thing about the benefits package is full medical coverage at Saint Joseph Health hospitals. The worst thing is that IT employees don't get on-call pay; they only get paid if actually called in while on-call (which isn't really legal in CA).
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
