Health Benefits – Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage effective the 91st day of employment.

403b Retirement Savings Plan – Allows you to save money on a tax deferred basis. You can begin contributing to this program immediately.

Defined Benefit Pension Plan – Funded solely by St. Joseph’s. Employees are fully vested after 5 years of service credit.

Life Insurance – St. Joseph’s pays for the policy equal to 1 times your base salary. Optional life insurance is available at a low cost to employees for self and dependents.

Flexible Spending Accounts – Up to $5,000 for Dependent Care Account. Up to $2,550 for Health Care Reimbursement Account.

Pre-Tax Parking and Mass Transit Savings

Hospital Operated Child Care – Located at 800 Main Street, Paterson.

Tuition Reimbursement Program – Effective the first of the month following three months of employment.

Paid Time Off – You are eligible for vacation, personal days, sick days, and holidays.

Credit Unions – Selection between North Jersey Federal Credit Union (NJFCU) and Healthcare Employees Federal Credit Union (HEFCU)

Hospital Cafeteria – Hospital Cafeteria – Hours of operation: 6:30-10:30 breakfast 11-2 lunch.

Employee Assistance Program is available to employees and their immediate family in times of emotional stress and personal crisis 24 hours a day.

    I do not have health insurance with them but they have good PTO and will pay it out if you give enough notice when you leave

    St. Joseph's downgraded from a pension plan to a 403(b) which the match is not enough. Medical benefits are good and affordable, free treatment at St. Joseph sites for employees with health insurance through the hospital. Paid time off is provided, including sick time. Tuition assistance is good. Overall benefits are pretty good.

    we have an inner circle of doctors that we can choose from that are apart of the hospital, and if we go there we save money. we also don't pay co pays at the emergency department
