Great health insurance and wellness plans
Practically non-existent, takes ages to get an ordinary doctor's appointment, very low salary. At first I didn't even know that we had a benefits package
Stanford has great employee benefits.
no benefits for part-time employees
No benefits package for an undergraduate intern.
Medical Coverage, 403b matching, STAP funds
Great healthcare options, specifically the ability to use Stanford physicians, flexible start/stop and work from home options, yearly training funds, encouraged to develop knowledge and skills. Excellent work environment. Respectful, encouraging and talented colleagues. Great 403c plan and excellent vacation time. Cons - Very little to no opportunity for advancement or promotion unless you are in upper management/leadership. Almost always hire externally for management positions. Salary is much lower than other Silicon Valley for profit businesses. Regular employees rarely receive bonuses, and raise percentages' aren't enough to cover the cost of living increases for the Bay Area.
As a post doc you get full coverage of medical, dental and vision insurance through the Stanford health care.
comprehensive, lots of choices, low cost
They have health care plans, dental plans, as well as other specific programs you can get involved in to have checkups and even financial assistance to some extent. Did not look too much into this as I was only there part time
