The best thing is that the state of Michigan matches your contribution but that’s it. No pension.
Not a huge selection of funds to pick from but they do put in up to 7 percent.
Good plan with employer match options. Little to no advising though and had to rely on an advisor you'll never meet.
Best thing is they match on 401k, worst thing is they ended the State's pension plan.

The 401k is pretty good the State matches a good percentage. The 401k VOYA website helps you navigate your retirement plan fairly easy. In addition, you can call advisors for free for explanation of plans that fit your needs.
The company will match what you put into your 401K.
