Paid time is great. Out of pocket insurance expense is ok but not great
No overtime pay. Overtime pay is converted to paid time off.
Good solid benefits package, takes 5 years to vest in the 401K
Pay was excellent and health insurance was paid at 100%. Vacation and sick time was more than expected as a new hire.
Stable benefits not likely to change too much year to year
The work hours and days for my position are weekdays, dayshift. It is a constant schedule that I can rely on and plan around. I always have weekends and holidays off. I accumulate sick and vacation days. The worst part is that after 20 years, I am no longer able to accumulate any addition time off-I am max-ed out right now.
The health insurance is great. They pay 100% and have a 750 deductible if out of network or surgical. The matching retirement is excellent and the time off allotted is exceptional if you can use it.
The benefits package at the State of Montana is comprehensive and all inclusive. Employees also gain access to the Montana Health Centers which are located in multiple cities throughout the state.
