StarStarStarStarStar Former Employee in Lincoln, Nebraska

Employer match is a little different than the normal 401K. The State give you $1.67 for every $1 of your salary applied to retirement but your contribution is locked in base on your pay rate. Good plan if you're not a "saver."

StarStarStarStarStar Former Administrative Assistant in Omaha, Nebraska

The State contributes a large share to the retirement plan. The plan balance grows fast.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Personnel Recruiter in Lincoln, Nebraska

The state offered a 156% match on your contribution of 4.8% of your salary. You are required to contribute that 4.8%. But, the match by the state is tough to beat anywhere.
