    Time off starts growing after 5 years. Retirement package is competitive and they match dollar for dollar up to about 5%.

    Excellent PTO...both sick and personal leave. Retirement plan is better than most with the state matching $1.76 for every dollar you put towards retirement. Amount, however, is set based on your salary and additional savings require you to set up deferred compensation plan.

    The retirement is outstanding, but its from the State government-- so you can't cash it out while you still work for NE. The health insurance is a good deal, more so if you participate in the Wellness Program. Offers health, vision, dental. life, and other fundings. Its not PTO, NE applies sick leave and vacation time separately.

    The benefit package is great! The only downfall is that they do not offer short term disability or maternity leave.

    Adequate vacation and sick leave. Great retirement plan. Health Insurance plans can be expensive, unless you select the Wellness plan which is extremely time consuming to keep up with.

    The state offers a very comprehensive suite of benefits and the employee contribution is reasonable. The retirement and vacation are beyond compare. I cannot even think of a "worse" thing.

    All the paid holidays are nice. Also get vacation time and sick time. Premium for family is a bit high

    The best thing about the benefits package is the fact that the state matches your 4.8% contribution by 156%! That is awesome!
