Overall, PEHP is a good health insurance provider.
It is very affordable and comprehensive. They have health/dental/vision and it is among the best I've had in the workplace.
Can't afford it because of the incredibly low hourly wage.
I haven't found PeHP to be nearly as good as Select Health with my previous employer. The co-pay for Rx's constantly varies so we pay more and it's hard to budget. (My spouse has several chronic conditions so takes a lot of Rxs.) Also, the State really pushes for employees to join HSA.
Excellent coverage for minimial cost. Dual coverage under Star plan means no premiums, no co pay and no co insurance.
Excellent health care coverage, including prescription coverage. Cover most doctors. clinics, and hospitals in the valley.
It provided a wide range of coverage but I never utilized it due to being young.
You have a few options of health insurance to choose from, however you will be heavily pressured to choose the Star Health Savings Account, which is only good if you never ever go to the doctor.
