“They used to offer a variety of plans, now it's limited to one or two per region.”
“Within the past 8 years the contribution amount increased substantially.”
“Entry level usually starts with 4.5 personal days, 2.5 weeks of vacation, 9 holidays, and 5 accrued hours of sick leave per pay period.”
Great vacation and sick leave.
Health, dental, and vision are the best rates in the state.
Cadillac benefit plan works great
You work independently for the most part. Work at your own pace . Depending on the supervisor you are not micromanaged.
Leave package is great. Vacation starts at 80-120 hours per year and increases after 5 years, 36 hours personal time, and 5 hours of sick time every pay period.
Benefits are good, but used to be much better. The pension is what keeps most people working here, even though they may not like it or want to stay.
The worst thing at this moment is the medical you have to come out of your pocket with a big deductible and also for the vision you paid more than half for your prescription
The dental plans are not very helpful when something major comes along. But health & PTO are great. Also, no maternity leave. Just have to use up your sick time.
Act 10 decimated benefits and made employee costs skyrocket. My rate of pay effectively went down 15% with Act 10.
We have good benefits and a decent retirement. The state allows a lot of sick days and vacation days for what you do there. The benefits like healthcare was better 8 years ago and they have been going up continually and there has been no raises in 10 years
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
