    SR has an excellent benefits plan for admin staff. Staff pays no monthly premium for high deductible health plan and Stoel pays the amount of the deductible. The health plan w/o the high deductible costs $50 per month.

    7.5% of your base salary is put in your 401K every year. This adds up quickly and this is one of the only firms I have worked at where people are actually able to retire.

    The Firm should be a leader and revise the maternity/paternity policy to include better leave benefits for employees. Otherwise, the benefits are better than most of their competitors.

    BEST -- 401K match was good. Family medical leave was good, and they seemed to care about being flexible if you had a family member who needed special help. WORST -- Work schedule was contracted to be flexible, but management actually had fairly rigid expectations about being physically present in your office. (It seemed like they disregarded or minimized the value of your after-hours, weekend or meetings-away-from-the office work.)
